A VHF "true diversity" receiver, designed to help the videographer to create quality audio, with less chance of dropouts. The nature of RF signals is such that they bounce off walls or structures, creating "dead spots", or sudden loss of signal. The WDR-PRO, with 2 selectable frequencies, 2 front-end receivers inside the case, and 2 antennas, has been designed to overcome this inherent problem. Azden ECZ-990 Zoom Mic
The pick-up pattern of the built-in microphone on camcorders is omni-directional, meaning that it picks up all sounds in every direction equally, no matter which direction you point the camcorder.
