The GT 050Q provides all the ports you'd possibly need. With FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 and eSATA options, you can connect the GT050Q to your external interface of choice. eSATA is a cutting edge technology option, giving you the fastest bus speed available.
The GT 050Q uses a quiet internal fan for maximum airflow and proper cooling. The case is designed with front-panel ventilation holes to draw cool air in, while exhausting warm air out the back - critical to the performance and reliability of the components.

Glyph GT 062E External RAID
The GT 062E has became a standard in production workflows. With capacities up to 6TB, the GT 062E includes an eSATA port, which enables over 200MB/s sustained transfer rate in RAID 0 mode. Connected by FireWire 800 or USB 2.0, the GT 062E reports the health of the two internal drives using Glyph Manager software. With dual SATA drives under the hood, and fault-tolerant RAID modes, there's plenty of speed and reliability for your production applications.
RAID 1 offers data redundancy and real-time backup by writing the same data to the two hard drives at the same time. Should a drive failure happen, data is still available on the remaining drive.
RAID 0 (striping) increases the performance of the drive system by spreading the data across two drives. RAID 0 is a proven technology for editing video, working with huge graphics files, sound libraries, and streaming instruments that play hundreds of samples simultaneously. RAID 0 is the default shipping drive mode.

Glyph PORTAGIG62
Portable RAID Solution
PortaGig 62 is modeled after it's powerful big brother the GT 062E, and offers capacities up to 3TB in a tiny footprint. With two internal SATA drives available in 7,200 and 5,400 RPM, the PortaGig 62 supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and Spanning modes. A built-in fan keeps the drives cool while Glyph Manager software constantly monitors the drive and enclosure health, notifying you if there is a problem.
Bus-powered with FireWire 800, the PortaGig 62 also includes USB and eSATA ports for optimum compatibility, allowing you to easily work on the road with a reliable RAID. Although eSATA is not a bus-powered interface, you can use the eSATA connection for fast data transfer (up to 177MB/s) while simultaneously using the FireWire 800 connection to power the drive. An external power supply is included with the PortaGig 62 if bus power is not available or is insufficient.

Connected by eSATA, FireWire, or USB 2.0, it gives you the freedom to move projects between multiple systems and use the fastest interface available on each system. With hardware RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, and Spanning modes, ForteRAID squeezes a ton of technology in a compact tabletop enclosure. These RAID modes provide speed, fault-tolerance, or a combination of both. If a drive fails when running in one of the fault-tolorent drive modes (RAID 1, 3, 5, 10), you can remove and replace it with a spare drive without losing any data. ForteRAID also allows for a "hot-spare": an online spare drive present in the chassis, allowing for immediate rebuild without user intervention.
